It was lovely to see some of you for book look this week. The children were excited to show you their work.
We continued with reading The Magic Finger story by Roald Dahl and this week thought about what makes us see red, our behaviour and the consequence. In the story The Girl sees red with her neighbours when they go hunting and gets cross with her teacher. She points her magic finger and all sorts of consequences can happen!
In maths we have been collecting, sorting, recording and interpreting data. We have learnt to count in tallies, pictograms and bar diagrams.
The tricky bit was when an image represented more than 1 object.
In science we have continued to develop our leaning about simple food chains and have creatively recorded these.
The children have just about finished their Power Points about their chosen place in St Albans. Over the next couple of weeks they will be presented their work to the rest of the class.
Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Fernandes, Mrs Hostein and Miss Spencer.
