There’s lots of learning which can be done outside: Science – identifying natural features planting seeds; English – speaking in sentences and writing a list; saying instructions in preparation for writing them; ┬áD&T – following instructions to make something useful and fun; Maths – estimating the number of daisies in a footprint. Also team-work – building a castle as a team – turn-taking, working safely and thoughtfully – standing still and carefully observing the blue flowers to count the number of bees busily collecting pollen (we counted 8 in a small area). We all had a very enjoyable, the kite-making and kite-flying clearly the favourite activities. Here are some photos of Green Class joining in safely outdoors.
