In 2011-12 the Government launched its Pupil Premium funding. We receive a sum of money every year based on the numbers of pupils in the school who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), Children Looked After (CLA), children who have been adopted from care or leave care under a special guardianship or residence order and armed forces children. From 2012-13, Pupil Premium funding was expanded to include funding for all our pupils who have been eligible for FSM within the last 6 years.
The school plans how to spend the allocated funding each year to maximise the progress and attainment for these pupils. The impact of these interventions are analysed at the end of each academic year in order to adapt the plan for the future.
