Last week we took part in Science Week.
The focus of this year was to think about materials to make a paper aeroplane. The children chose how they would like to do this, considering which material would be best and why.
They then tested how far the plane flew and thought about ways to improve it.
There were prizes given for the planes which flew the furthest, as well as to those children who thought like scientists and gave explanations as to why they chose the materials.
Well done to these children for making planes which flew furthest
Isa, Jamal and Gowri
Congratulations to these children for their scientific explanations
Sandra, Tomas, Josh, Jake, Ben and Evie.
A final congratulations to Sam H for his perseverance.
A child in Silver Class unfortunately did not get to take their prize home as it has been taken out of her book bag. If your child is not listed above, and has come home with a plane making kit, please return it to either Mrs Hostein, Mrs Fernandes or Miss Lewis to discuss this.
