This week has been anti bullying week. The children have had several sessions over the week to develop our understanding of the difference between being mean and bullying and then an anti bullying workshop on Tuesday with an outside company. In RE we thought about how Christians cope with worries and then we thought about how we cope with them. We made a bracelet with beads that we can move to represent our worries. Next week these bracelets will be used for positive statements about ourselves, linking it to Christianity.

In Maths we have continued with multiplication and division. We have begun to learn the 2 times table. We have also used arrays to derive 2 multiplication and the 2 inverse division equations from it. We have sent some of these to practise for home learning. We will continue with multiplication and division next week.

Writing today was writing in the first person as Traction Man and retelling his adventures and missions he carried out. The children really enjoyed this story.

The children have begun to present their Power Point presentations to the class that they have produced in computing. They have included animations and sound!

Have a lovely weekend.

The Year 2 Team.
