Another exciting week in Year 2!

After visiting 1666 yesterday the children have decided life is better today! What a wonderful opportunity to experience life as it was in 1666. In the morning there were 10 different activities for the children to try out, including role play fire fighting and rat catching! Have a look at a small selection of the pictures below. As follow up today the children wrote a recount and they were still so animated about the events of yesterday.

In maths we have returned to addition and subtraction using a blank number line to show our working out. Some children have been filling in missing numbers (23 + __ = 47) We have sent home some inverse sheets to practise this.

The children have finally solved the mystery of the missing chocolate cake in computing and have emailed Mrs Cooper with their findings.

Have a lovely weekend!
