What an exciting day we had yesterday with our Great Fire of London day! Hopefully the children came home and told you all about it. Have a look at a few of the pictures taken on the day below. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped. Today the children planned and wrote a recount of the day yesterday using adverbs of time, conjunctions and made sure it was in the past tense.

In maths the children have been adding 2 x2 digit numbers on empty number lines. They have found this quite tricky so we will be continuing with this next week.

In RE the children continued to draw the different symbols for each of the world main religions and to write about which, if any religious group they belong to.

The children began to research answers to the questions they created on their mind maps in computing. We talked about how we keep ourselves safe on the internet.

The spellings this week have been words that have the soft c: face, race, ice, cell, city, fancy, space, bicycle, circle, spicy.

We have added some 2dos on purple mash.

Have a lovely weekend.

The Year 2 Team.
