Another busy week.
In Maths we have been doubling and halving and in Literacy we have continued to look at trees and leaves. Today, each child wrote a poem, describing what they could see in Autumn.
We shall continue to look at Topic books and link our lessons to the changing season.
On that note, Green Class are still three helpers short. If you are able to accompany us, please let Mrs. Haynes know asap.
If you would like to support your child with their letter formation, these are the focus letters for this week: c, a, d and g.
The children have their Purple Mash log-on in their Reading Diary and have been practising using computers at school.
Year 1 have also been Scientists this week, asking questions and finding their own answers by classifying and sorting animals into groups.
We hope you have a lovely weekend, whatever the weather brings. Autumn is definitely here!
Mrs. Haynes and Mrs. Caramelo.
