It has been a busy and boiling week in Year 1.
We did some cross curricular Maths and PE, using what we learnt about estimating, measuring and comparing length and volume.
In Art the children drew a swimmer and next week they will paint a David Hockney’s style swimming pool.
We enjoyed watching the lovely Year 2 show and listened to songs from all around the world.
Today we wrote beautiful and creative Summer poems, describing what we see, smell, hear and touch in the summer season.
Please, send your child to school with a named hat and a water bottle. Water bottles can be refilled but it can be disruptive if they always have to get a cup to drink.
Enjoy the weekend.
