Another busy and fun-filled week in Year 1.

For our Science topic, we have continued to observe our caterpillars growing in the classroom. We hope your child has been keeping you up to date with the changes they have already made. It has been wonderful to observe them and we have loved the enthusiasm that the children have shown towards their mini-beasts. We’ll keep you posted!

In Art, the children have manipulated clay to create a tile and design for their chosen mini-beast. Again, the children really enjoyed the process and have already painted them ready for display.

We have been practising hard for the different sporting activities for Sport’s Day this coming Thursday. Please ensure that your child not only has their PE kit in school, but also have the appropriate footwear for running outside.

The highlight of our week, was sharing the progress that your child has made this year during our Parent Consultations. Thank you to all the parents who came to share the learning and the effort that your child has been making during this academic year.

We are looking forward to seeing you and your families next Saturday at the CHISS Summer Fair.

Mrs. Foulds & Mrs. Caramelo.
