Our first week back has been full and fun-packed.
We have been finding out all about our bodies. This has included, naming parts of the body, signing a song about the different parts of our body (not Head, shoulders, knees and toes – ask your child to sing the song to you!) Our P.E. this half term has a dance focus and today we were grateful to Aiden’s mother for teaching us how to move our bodies elegantly.
Today, we have also respectfully marked Remembrance Day with a two minute silence at 11′ o’clock. Let us know if anyone attends a Remembrance event or watches it on the television this Sunday and they can share this with Miss. Cooper next week.
Home learning has been sent home today, along with the first lot of spellings. Please support your child with learning them and using these words when writing sentences. On the Half term overview you will see that we have requested photographs of parties. This could be birthday parties, but street parties and family celebrations would be really interesting, too. Please check your child’s book bag regularly for letters as the next few weeks will be busy with a trip, fruit tasting and Christmas events.
Wishing you all a happy and safe weekend.
Regards, Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Caramelo.
